Day trip to the Rhine Valley
Vineyards, picturesque little villages and mighty medieval castles
A day trip to the Rhine, to the part of the river valley that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Vineyards and picturesque little villages. Mighty medieval castles, more than anywhere else in the world in such a small area.
Enjoy a fantastic view over the Rhine Valley from the Niederwalddenkmal and, in summer, a cable car ride down into the valley. Lunch in a wonderful restaurant on the banks is also part of the excursion, as is a boat trip to St. Goarshausen past the famous Loreley rock. We invite you to a wine tasting in this famous wine-growing region. Rüdesheim/Drosselgasse: stop for souvenir shopping.
(There is no regular boat service in winter. If a boat trip is not possible, we can offer you a visit to a castle as an alternative)
